The Merritt Island Swim Club goes back many years and was most recently known as "Island Aquatics."  Central Brevard Aquatics (CBA) was incorporated by Major and Sue Hall and became a USA Swimming team in May of 2005.  In May of 2006, CBA joined forces with Island Aquatics.  We are now known as Central Brevard Swimming and our swimmers are known as the CBS ISLANDERS.  CBS Islanders are pleased to call Merritt Island High School "home."

Brevard County is in East Central Florida, on the "Space Coast."  Merritt Island is situated between the Banana and Indian rivers, approximately four miles west of Cocoa Beach.  Merritt Island is also where the Kennedy Space Center is located!

Because we are a USA Swimming club, every member is required to join USA Swimming/Florida Swimming.  Forms must be signed and returned by the third day of training.  First-time USA Swimming members must also provide a copy of their birth certificate.  Those transferring from other USA-S clubs must complete a "USA Swimming Club Release and Transfer Form."  A physical exam is recommended, but not required, for all new swimmers.

Check out "Registration & Fees" page for complete details and forms.
