INTERESTED IN GIVING OUR TEAM A TRY?

Joining a swim team is a big decision.  If you are interested in "trying out" our team to see if it is a good fit for your family, please contact us and we'll arrange a 3-day (during one week), no cost, no obligation guest pass for new swimmers.  You will be required to complete and sign a Swimmer Info Form and Consent & Waiver before entering the pool.

All CBS-Islanders swimmers must be a current member of USA-S/Florida Swimming, and are required to pay an annual CBS Team Registration fee and Monthly Training Fees, as outlined below, according to the Swim Level in which they are placed (at coaches' discretion). 

All new and returning swimmers must register online by fifth training day.  Consent & Release must be submitted PRIOR TO ENTERING POOL!

Online Registration

Online registration is processed by Thriva/The Active Network.  The registration process is straight-forward.  Please read the following information about online registration:

1. If this is your first time accessing online registration, make sure you press the "New User" link.  
2. All new swimmers and returning swimmers who are not registered through 2009 (seasonal memberships expired 8/31/09) will be required to register online and pay 2010 USA/Florida Swimming registration ($56.00), which will be effective from your first day in the pool through 12/31/10.  You will also be required to pay the 2010 CBS annual fee ($25), and your first month's training fees by the FIFTH DAY in the pool.  If you are a new swimmer, your account will be issued pro-rate credit per first month pro-rate policy, outlined below.  This credit may be used for your next month's training fee.  ALL NEW SWIMMERS MUST SUBMIT A PHOTOCOPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE WHEN REGISTERING!  This may be scanned and e-mailed to registration@cbs-islanders.com or given to your coach.  New swimmers are not registered until this birth certificate has been received and acknowledged. 
3. Toward the end of the billing portion of your initial registration, you will be given the option of having your Monthly Training Fees automatically charged on the 1st of each month to your credit card or checking account, for your convenience.  Your other option is to be billed monthly - but not automatically charged.  If you choose this option, you will need to log into your online account on the 1st of each month to make your payment.  In both cases, you will be able to make payments via e-check, debit card, or credit card.  All transactions will be processed through Thriva's secure network. 
4. If your child(ren) will not be swimming in a given month, you have until the 25th of the previous month to notify us of your intent via e-mail.  In this case, your account will be put "on hold" and you will not be billed.  Without notification, you will be responsible for paying Monthly Training Fees each month.

Level 2-Development Training      $50/month

To make month-to-month Training Fee payments:

RETURNING USER

Family Discounts of 10% will be applied for multiple swimmers within a family.  The first swimmer will pay the amount listed above; each additional swimmer (in same household) may deduct 10% from the prices listed above.

Monthly Training Fees are due on the first day of each month.  There will be a $10 late fee for payments received later than the 10th day of the month.

Monthly dues will NOT be pro-rated for personal reasons.  The only time a monthly fee will be pro-rated is when a new swimmer joins after the first training day of a month.  In this instance, a swimmer will be charged a pro-rated amount (not to exceed the amounts above) for the month in which he or she joins CBS-Islanders.
